Grandmaster accuses 14-year old of cheating against Daniel Naroditsky

A 14-year old GM has made headlines after being accused of cheating in a match against GM Daniel Naroditsky. 

The bombshell report was made public on X by Russian GM Vladimir Kramnik, who accused 14-year old GM Andy Woodword of cheating in his matches against veteran GM Naroditsky. The scandal, which just broke on March 30, was picked up by chess YouTuber and streamer GothamChess (IM). GothamChess's video was titled "Chess Prodigy Accused of Cheating?!", yet in the video Gotham credits the young GM's win over Naroditsky to "good old fashion tilt", and is suspicious of the cheating claims.

However, many have taken to the internet to voice their views of Woodward's game against Naroditsky, many of which accuse the 14-year old of cheating. 

It should be noted that Woodward beat Naroditsky 15 times in a row. Not once, not twice ... but 15 straight times. Such a feat that chess greats such as Magnus Carlsen and Hikaru have not been able to achieve, a testament to Naroditsky's strength in the bullet format. Which is leading many to question: How is cheating in bullet even possible?

To put validity to Kramnik's claims, cheating in bullet chess is possible. One reddit user points out "There's ways to tie engines directly into the input of the chess software". On a forum on chess.com, a user mentions how you can actually install a bot to play the bullet game for you.

However, while many skeptics online have pointed to cheating as the explanation for Woodward's win, chess master's are hesitant to agree. In fact, GothamChess blurred out Kramnik's name from the Twitter (or, X) screenshots because, according to Gotham, "Kramnik accuses basically everyone of cheating". One commenter on the video, released just an hour ago, agreed with this take, stating: "Being accused of cheating by Kramnik at this point is a compliment".
