The reason I post my OTB (over-the board) tournament games is as a sort of thank you to all my friends, teamates, and opponents on Chess.com who provide convenient practice and a variety of styles and, I dare say lessons :), in the numerous chess games I play on this site.

Yesterday and today alone (Wednesday 18th-19th) I felt so 'out of sorts' that I lost >70 "Live Chess" points trying to 'play myself into some form' do you know what I mean?

At our chess club annual Thursday night 7-round Swiss tournament tonite, which is FIDE rated and at least 3 FM's and NM's and the current National champion participate, I carried the weight of those 70 points into my game against a veteran player who possiblely cracked a FIDE rating of 2000 in his heyday but now is an 1800 perenial; a very structural player who I had played many times casually.
