[video] The World's Most Famous Chess Combinations #3: Steinitz v. Von Bardeleben
Hi all,
In episode #3 of The World's Most Famous Chess Combinations I take a look at one of Wilhelm Steinitz's finest moments.
He managed to play a very deep and fine combination against Von Bardeleben in Hastings, 1895.
Apparently Von Bardeleben could not appreciate what was going on.
The story is sad, the combination all the more beautiful and "evergreen".
