198 pt win.
I'm feeling better and better about the Patzer Opening and the moves that follow it. I'm noticing when to develop so that it's not just a boring chase the queen for the middle game. After one game where I didn't develop there were no pins, forks and all the other rich moves that chess has to offer that I almost gave up this opening. Fortunately, I realized that it was boring because my middle game was boring. I really think this opening is the strongest opening for white, if you know how to play it. However, I have a lot to learn. My opponent is ranked 198 points better than me, I think this is a new record and I'm proud to beat someone this high. Of course I remember some really atrocious games where I lost with this to but that's the whole point to really master this opening. I wouldn't mind playing this guy again, he's a solid chess player and just seemed cool. Not to detract from my play on this game and although I beat him playing black he may be just having a bad couple of games, I've been there.
