Get up and FIGHT!!!
There's a scene in Scott Pilgrim VS. the World when Matthew Patel first attacks Scott Pilgrim and it plays out in slow motion. Scott is sitting there wondering, "What do I do?" So, Wallace yells, "FIGHT!" Scott suddenly throws a punch that sends Matthew Patel flying into the walls. That's pretty much how I felt at the beginning of this game.
Against a higher ranked player I would have been chewed up and spit out but against lower ranked I knew there was a chance. The question was, could I find it? This game was a four minute blitz. I pretty much sucked on my opening but I kept fighting trying to create some threats, control the center, something. Now, some chess players will think this was all luck. But in chess, knowing when a person has made a mistake and capitalizing on it is very important. I recognized mistakes and kept fighting. Next fight, Nega-Wesso!
