Sports are essential for physical and mental development. Some sports may require both physical as well as mental skills but some also might only require mental activity and skills. Greatest example of this type is 'Chess'.

Chess is being known as the greatest complicated but interesting intellectual game. This game originated from India in 6th century as the successor of 'Chaturanga'. It is a board game which consists of two players who compete mentally against  each other with their respective chess pieces over the board.Chess may seem strange and hard to most of the people but it is still played and loved by around more than 5 billion people across the globe. It develops special creative skills and tactics by enhancing the thinking and constructive abilities of the person. It is a best way to reduce stress by spending worthy time to improve self-performance.

In the busy modern times,Chess can act as the most impactful, interesting and skillful hobby to learn. It requites less time but returns amazing results after constant practice. It actually exercises the both sides of our Brain. It also improves concentration,introspection,problem-solving,decision-making and Memory.Hence,it can be also termed as "Mental Gymnasium" for brain exercise and people should be encouraged and promoted for playing chess so that it's numerous benefits can be gained by everyone.

Thank you.
