What is Chess?

When we talk about chess, we usually first ask ourselves, what is chess? Chess is a sport that has 16 pawns on the board, 2 kings, 2 queens, 2 bishops, 2 knights, and 2 rooks. It has a board that have 64 squares, each colored black and white. The pieces, usually, too has the colors of black and white.

When did Chess First Start?

Chess started at the 6th century AD (After Jesus Christ, it can also be known as AC). The early forms of it started in India. Before, it was not like it is now. One of the early forms was called Chaturanga.
