Bad health = bad chess
I saw the question of the day or week what ever on the main chess.com page and it asked if being in shape makes you a better chess player. I got to thinking about that and yes I do think being in good health makes you a better chess player. I'm a Diabetic and when my blood sugar is out of control I have a hard time playing. For the last couple of months my blood sugar has been awful and chess has become more of a chore than a hobby. I have stopped enjoying my games and sometimes I find myself on the verge of tears from frustration. I'm working on getting things under control again so I can feel better and start playing and enjoying the game again.
