Blitz strategies

Today I am gonna be telling you my blitz strategies ,tricks and tips of blitz chess. Hope you find this instructive. 

Chapter 1 : Clock
In blitz chess clock is an essential part of this time control. Not as important as bullet but still enough that you have to care about it.
Now how do we fight this strong opponent ?
Well to counter this we must first start with understanding to make premoves in your head. What the f is that you may ask ?
It is a simple trick that most high rated opponent use in time scrambles.
Firstly whenever your in a time scramble and it's your opponent move in your head just say what I am gonna do if this happens I am gonna do this. Now you still have to understand that since you won't have enough time as your opponent whatever move you come up your gonna be playing that as in time trouble you simple don't have time to think. 

Chapter 2: Playing inaccurate chess.
In blitz chess many people have the false sense that they can use a lot of time to play perfect chess. But that's wrong even in 3 min increment you simply don't have enough time to play the right moves. So whenever you play inaccurate chess don't feel bad about it. It happens and it's blitz.
 

Hence spending time is a bad strategy in blitz chess you must make a habit to only think for a certain time. In most games you won't do that but it's fine. As long as your doing this most of the times it's perfectly a ok. 

Chapter 3 : Simple ideas 
In blitz chess your entire focus of the opening should be on simple stupid ideas. Mainly it's because of the fact that in blitz chess getting in a easy position where one side has easy moves makes the other side have to burn time in order to play the position. Hence your entire focus should be on easy to play position with simple ideas.
 

But what if I am not in a simple position rather a complicated one with one moves making a huge difference. Well you can't avoid that so if you do find yourself in such positions make sure to use your time and figure out the move. You shouldn't spend all of your time rather only spend some and play what you think is right. Remember your opponent is also a human he will not be able to play perfectly. 

Chapter 4 : Hope and pray.
At last no matter how good you are you will find yourself in a bad position , completely lost even. When you do find yourself in such positions make a mental note on what the win of the position is. Imagine your playing as your opponent and you want to win that game how will you proceed , any ideas that come to mind find a way to kinda stop it of course you're losing but maybe he might miss something you never know. 😉 
 

Chapter 5: Converting time advantages
In blitz chess you will find yourself being completely winning on time but you somehow find a way to get mated and you lose. So how do we counter that ? Well the best strategy I found to counter that is not playing on the opponents clock. Yes he's in time pressure but you're not so what you can do is to make your opponents life a bit hard by using your time and coming with a good move. Remember to take a note of your time as well. I've seen , played many games where I am up time but I think for too long and lose instead of my opponent.
