Chess  Typography

Hello chess friends:

I am going to do a series of articles about chess typography, some of them will be news, others researches and others translations from a blog I have in Spanish (https://ajedreztipografia.wordpress.com/ ).

The reason is that I am a bit fed up with the flat diagrams generated with ChessBase, ChessAsistant and other programs! They are always the same (fortunately on chess.com, lichess, when we play we have more variety).

This original diagram appears in the German book/agenda of the publisher Marco SchachKalendar 2024; the author is WOLF BÖESE, professional designer with his company NeueDeutsche and his design initiative Stange Chess (https://www.neuedeutsche.com/strangerchess/ ).

He has also done work for chess.com.
Here is an example of a diagram that appeared in SchachKalendar 2024.

He has also designed typefaces including the unicode characters related to chess figures (I will do an article about this soon) and CC vectors for use under certain conditions.

They are the following.

Do you like these symbols to use them in diagrams, in what circumstances (books, chess programs, posters...)?

I look forward to your opinions!
