The middle game is one of the most important times in chess games. It determines who might or will win. Here are the basic concepts of how to win middle games.

Why moves matter?:

If you do not play the right moves at the right time it will affect your position as your opponent may grab the opportunity that you didnt play the right moves and can create a devastating attack on your king. The best way to combat this is to see what your opponents moves do and if your pieces are attacked or not. If not then you can start attacking your opponents king. Just be careful while doing so.

How to see the right moves:

An easy way to see the right moves is to make sure you have a move which defends a piece or makes sure your pieces are safe. Sometimes the best move attacks a piece and also defends one.

Why you should play the right moves:

As given in the 1st point if you do not play the right moves you will or might suffer quite a lot depending on your opponents move. If you blunder then you are going to have a setback meanwhile your opponent can grasp the opportunity to ruin your position and gain even more material.
