Why new players are bad at openings
The reason why new players are bad at openings is because players tend to not know the opening.
Openings:
Examples of unseen openings are: Siciallian defence, Scotch Game and Queens indian attack( Sometimes new players play this to confuse opponents). The best way to combat this is to do your lessons and go to the lessons tab>learn openings>learn any opening properly. Sometimes opponents may also not play the desired moves and not follow the standards of the openings so you can play it safe and do not blunder
Developing pieces:
New players sometimes move their pawns only and do not bring their pieces out. The best way to not do this is by moving your minor (knight and bishop) then castle your king to safety and after that it is best to bring your queen out as now you can go into the middle game.
