How to set up the chessborad

If you are a beginner to Chess, and you are wondering how to set up the board, you will learn how to in this article. Let's start with the pawns

The pawns start on the 7th and 2end ranks covering every bigger pieces. Let's talk about the rooks and knights and bishops.

The rook are in the corners (a8 a1 h1 and h8). The knights go beside the rooks and for the bishops, one is on a light square and one is and a dark square. Now the Queen:

The queens start on their color so the white queen starts on d1 (light square) and the black queen starts on d8 (dark square). The kings are on the last squares left e1 and e8.
