Bizarre Alice Chess

I was beginning to get very tired of sitting by my sister on the bank, and of having nothing to do:  once or twice I peeped into the book my sister was reading, but it had no pictures or conversations in it, and what is the use of a book, without pictures or conversation!

When suddenly I saw a littl white rabbit and I swore I heard him say  `Oh dear!  Oh dear!  I shall be late!'  When the Rabbit actually took a watch out of its waistcoat-pocket , and looked at it, and then hurried on, I started to my feet, for it flashed across my mind that I had never before seen a rabbit with either a waistcoat-pocket, or a watch to take out of it, and burning with curiosity, I ran across the field after it, and fortunately was just in time to see it pop down a large rabbit-hole under the hedge!

And I fell! Down I went never to meet the ground. During that time, numbers and letters fluttered right by me all tied up in knots! I counted and read but how silly it is to have to do both at the same time. There is nothing sensical about these words at all. Nf3? D4? Perhaps you can understand what they mean!
