A serie of 8

Today I played in a 5 0 blitz tourney and had a serie of 8 games without losses.

In the last few weeks I have been losing quite some games, in blitz, but also correspondence chess. That is one thing, but I also lost against lower rated players I had never lost againts before.

The reasons ? Blundering, and playing too fast and superficial.

And why the blundering ? Because the ups and downs of personal life and the amount of non-chess to-do things were pretty dominant in the mental part of me. But maybe also because the warm summer weather seems finally completely over.

In this tourney today I played good because I felt motivated to play some better chess than before, and because there was no noise distractions, and I was listening to nice classical music.

A few games filled me with joy.
