Moves: Beginner or new to chess players

Ok, you are a new player.... Trying to learn! Learn these few moves and the opennings I posted earlier.

PAWN

Can move 2 steps at it's very begining, but otherwise only ONE. Can attack DIAGONALLY only and you can learn about en-passant.

Rook

Straight and sideways, but cannot jump, just like pawns.

KNIGHT

can jump and move in an L pattern. View the image to understand

BISHOP

Moves Diagonally. View the image for separate, black and white squared bishops.

KINGS

Only moves one step at a time if at no checkmate

QUEEN

Moves ANYWHERE but cannot jump and move like a knight.
