Before I begin I would like to give a big thank you to all the people at chess.com for the explorer option so that I can check out some fantastic games with the A4 opening. But, did you know only 16 games were played with the A4 opening in history? Out of those, we have 8 wins for white 5 ties and only 3 losses. In my part 2 about the A4 opening, I had said that E5 was the best defence since it does not allow the rook to move. Well, surprisingly with E5 3 games are a win and only 1 draw. Don't believe me? Well, you can check out chess.com's explorer option. One cool game that I would like to show is the GM Magnus Carlsen vs GM Hikaru Nakurama, it has used the A4 opening(Played on 3rd February 2018)! Carlsen opened with A4 than an E5 response by Hikaru. One surprising move was A5 the next move by Carlsen. RNBQKB1R%20w%20KQkq%20-%200%207&board=walnut&piece=3d_staunton&size=3Few moves later like I had done before you take advantage of the E4 and here Carlsen has traded pawns. Surprisingly this was the last move of the game and Hikaru offered resigned. I had taken it into my own hands to finish this game of so let's see if this game was worthy of a draw or a loss. R1BQK2R%20b%20KQkq%20-%200%2013&board=walnut&piece=3d_staunton&size=3I took my D pawn forward and opened up my horses and light-squared bishop. 2BQK2R%20w%20K%20-%201%2023&board=walnut&piece=3d_staunton&size=3 I had done a knight sacrifice for a leading attack against the queen and pawn structure. 2B2RK1%20w%20-%20-%201%2031&board=walnut&piece=3d_staunton&size=3Here a queen trade was done for a blistering attack with my bishop and rook and my rook will come to join. 8%20w%20-%20-%204%2040&board=walnut&piece=3d_staunton&size=3Instead of a rook attack like I wanted I did a trade and I am absolutely onto his king with my bishop and rook, he is doing his best to stop it (Might not work still)8%20w%20-%20-%201%2053&board=walnut&piece=3d_staunton&size=3Here I traded everything so that one of my pawns will become a queen. Surprisingly stockfish says I am winning 12.80. I have no idea if you do send it in the comments. It may be my G pawn but, I am not sure. 8%20w%20-%20-%203%2061&board=walnut&piece=3d_staunton&size=3Now I am sure. The pawns on the left battled hardly so 1 of them could become a queen. I conclude from this that it was Magnus for the win.
