How to play king of the Hill
Hello guys. Have you ever wondered or wanted to know how to play some variants? Well you're in luck. In this series we look at some variants. King of the hill history is probably unknown and clouded (maybe very old).
In this game the position looks normal. theres no 2 players per a side or craziness. In fact it looks so normal that a beginner would think its normal chess. But there are differences. King of the hill has only one difference.
King of the Hill or "KOTH" is an exciting variant in which the goal is to get your king to the center of the board or "top of the hill". (King of the Hill Tips for Beginners coming soon!)
- Games can still end in the traditional ways of checkmate, stalemate and time-out.
- The game can also end when a player moves their king to any of the four central squares.
- e4, d4, e5, and d5 are "top of the hill" squares, winning the game on the spot for either White or Black, regardless of the nature of the position.
The difference is that the first king to the middle wins. I know its crazy. It is usually played with bullet time controls. The only useful piece in king of the hill is all of them. you can guess why.
the best move is e4 and then e5. the worst move is a move is a move that doesn't let the king out. i cant really show you board format. but i can show you a game.
and heres one more
thats it. bye!!!!!!!!!!!
