ELO anxiety and losing streaks
ELO in the chess world are a couple of numbers that define your skill level. Losing streaks can happen at any time during the big chess journey and could change your vision about this game and even demotivate you. Not being enthusiastic for a couple of days is totally normal and could occur to every player. The most common trap that people fall in every time after losing a bigger chunk of ELO is partially giving up and not care that much, therefore maintaining their ego. If you want to improve at this game, you need to adapt to the ability to study theory and profound your knowledge on a daily basis IF possible. It can be through videos , books , or even by ANALYZING your games it could be really helpful in order to come back stronger for your incoming games. Taking a break after a losing streak is the best solution that I can share. Like IM Levy Rozman said: "Sometimes you have to take a step back in order to push later with stronger forces." The Knight usually has to abandon the post and travel a longer journey through greatness and glory
. In conclusion, there are bad days with a lot of pain, however, patience gets rewarded and soon enough better days are COMING.
