Though much of the world is abuzz about Netflix's compelling new show Squid Game, WFM Anna Cramling has a question for all you, dear readers: are you ready to play?

This Sunday 24th, starting at 19:00 CEST (1PM ET, 10AM PT), Anna Cramling is hosting a decidedly less violent show inspired by the Netflix hit, and she's calling it Squid Chess. The vivacious Twitch streamer and chess WFM has gathered 32 of Twitch's hottest stars—from Chess's own Andrea Botez and GothamChess to influencers from many different sectors of the internet, including YouTube star Daily Dose of Internet and political commentator David Pakman—to see who can survive her dastardly game.

Here is the list of participants:

Each player will have to fend for themselves in a brutal five-round elimination battle, which will put their chess skills up against their creativity, ability to work together, and resourcefulness. Though the contents of the game itself is a secret, each round is heavily inspired by the games featured in the Korean-based Netflix smash hit.

Just like in the show, the players, too, will be playing for a windfall, with USD$8,000 up for grabs for the Top 4 finishers.

This promises to be an exciting—albeit quirky!—way of celebrating chess's vast culture, and, knowing Anna Cramling, there are sure to be lots of surprising twists all throughout the broadcast. Make sure you tune in to Twitch.tv/annacramling or Chess.com/tv on October 24 at 19:00 CEST/1p.m ET/ 10 a.m PT to enjoy the show and keep your eye out for giveaways from Panda Global and HyperX throughout the broadcast.
