First ChessQueensNL Match: WGM Anne Haast vs. WGM Dina Belenkaya!

The ChessQueensNL are back! Following the great success of the weekly ChessQueensNL shows in the first half of 2021, we decided to host monthly matches inspired by the US Chess Women Fundraiser matches previously hosted on BotezLive.

The first match is between WGM Anne Haast, current Dutch Women's chess champion, and WGM Dina Belenkaya, popular Twitch streamer (twitch.tv/thebelenkaya) and winner of the St. Petersburg Women's Championship three times. The match is taking place on Sunday 21 November at 3PM CET / 9AM ET. The time control of the match is 3+2 and the one that reaches 10 points first will be the winner of the match. Thanks to our wonderful donators, we have a prize fund of €200 with a 60/40 split.

The match will be broadcasted on twitch.tv/annamaja as well as on ChessTV with commentary by FM Anna-Maja Kazarian. We hope you will enjoy the show!

Who are ChessQueensNL?

ChessQueens* is a foundation in the Netherlands, founded by Zhaoqin Peng, Tea Lanchava, Bianca de Jong-Muhren, Anne Haast and Lisa Schut, the former Dutch Olympic team, on 3 December 2014. Their aim is to support and stimulate women's chess across the board in the Netherlands.

In the following years, the formation of the ChessQueens has changed. The current members of the ChessQueens are: Zhaoqin Peng, Tea Lanchava, Anne Haast, Iozefina Paulet, Rosa Ratsma, Maaike Keetman and Anna-Maja Kazarian.

Since the beginning of 2021, Anna-Maja Kazarian joined the ChessQueens to provide support through her Twitch channel, and promoting women's chess in the international scene in cooperation with the ChessQueens.
