My best games series: Part 3, Almost a brilliancy

Hi all, I'm aronian22! And today, we will look at one of my......less flattering games. Oh well, maybe you'll be impressed, maybe not. Either way, this is a cool example of a game where a basic theme ends up in my favor. But you might notice that on moves 15 and 17, I missed out on 2 big chances to win in an easier way.

First, though, I must set the tone. The tournament I played this game in is a Scotch Game tournament. This was in one of my clubs. For the beginners who don't know it, here it is:
