Different types of checkmates

Hello friends!

Welcome to Part 2  of my series- How to play Chess on Chess.com!

Today my aim is to teach you different types of checkmates! In the tables given, you may inspect the checkmate.

1. The 4 move checkmate (Scholar's Mate)

Fig. 1.0

It starts with the common King's Pawn opening, then moves on with moving the queen and bishop to give checkmate(Check Fig.1.0) This is called the Scholar's Mate. But BEWARE, the Scholars mate can only be used with people who are new and don't know how to attack important pieces. Most people here know chess, sooooo you may need to use the end-of-game checkmates.

2. The Rook ♜ and Queen ♕ checkmate

                                                                      Fig. 1.1

Probably the hardest Checkmate to perform, the Queen and Rook checkmate is a late-game checkmate used by players whose opponent doesn't have any active piece left. Since it's hard to explain, let me leave you with Fig.1.1 to show you how it looks like!

And that's all for this week!

Stay Safe!,
