How to Unlock Chess.com’s Most Impossible Secret Achievements

Most achievements on Chess.com are easy. You play a few games, solve some daily puzzles, and the badges start rolling in. But there is a hidden tier of secret trophies that are almost impossible to get in regular matches.

Take Castle Victory, for example. To get it, you have to deliver a definitive checkmate by castling. Think about how rare that is! By the time checkmate happens, players have usually castled 40 moves ago.
Then there is Killer King, which requires you to deliver checkmate using your King. Since the king is a defensive piece, the only realistic way to do this is through a sneaky discovered check, stepping your king aside to unleash a hidden Rook or Bishop.
Unless you are playing a completely clueless opponent, chasing these badges in random Blitz games will just tank your rating. The real secret? You need to invite a friend to an unrated custom game and coordinate the pieces together like a puzzle!
