Chess.com recently released Insights for diamond members. One of the features of Insights is "Found vs missed mates". In 1037 rapid games I missed 29.3% of mates in 1, which is terrible. I have put together ten mate in 1 puzzles that I didn't notice in recent rapid games. See if you can find them.

Puzzle 1
In this game, I played Bxf6+ overlooking the quicker finish.

Puzzle 2

I did get this mate in the end but not at the first opportunity. Luckily my opponent also missed it giving me another chance to end the game!

Puzzle 3

I played Nxd5+ which also forces mate.

Puzzle 4

My opponent took a pawn on e7, I automatically played Bxe7 missing the mate in 1!

Puzzle 5

How did I miss this with 22 minutes on the clock?

Puzzle 6

Both kings are in mortal danger, luckily black wins the race to checkmate.

Puzzle 7

Whites last move Rb8 attacks my bishop, so naturally, I rescued my bishop instead of checkmating my opponent.

Puzzle 8

Another classic back rank checkmate! I overlooked this, played rook d7, and proceeded to queen the b pawn.

Puzzle 9

This is possibly the hardest of the ten puzzles.

Puzzle 10

The pawn on c6 and the queen control all of the king's escape squares.
