Chess.com recently released Insights for diamond members. One of the features of Insights is "Found vs missed mates". I have put together ten mate in 2 puzzles from my recent rapid games. I missed the last three, see if you can find them.

Puzzle 1

The two rooks, the bishop, the king and the pawn on g3 all work together to restrict the black king.

Puzzle 2

My previous move was Nd2-b3+. After Ka1-a2 white walks into a mate in 2. If white played Ka1-b1 the game would be a draw.
Puzzle 3
This game was looking bad for white until this mate in 2. Black could have prevented it by playing Nf6 instead of playing rook f8-c8 last move.
Puzzle 4
The power of the double check!

Puzzle 5

Another example of the queen and knight working together in harmony.

Puzzle 6

There are lots of strong moves here but only one mate in 2.

Puzzle 7

This is a familiar sight from puzzle rush with both rooks trapping their own king.

Puzzle 8

I missed this mate in 2 with one minute left on the clock and then went on to lose the game!

Puzzle 9

27 minutes on the clock to find this mate in 2 and I overlooked it! It was a back and forth game but after wasting this opportunity my opponent went on to win in ten moves.

Puzzle 10

Elementary bank rank checkmate missed with lots of time on the clock! Luckily my opponent missed it too, so the game ended a few moves later.
