Chess.com-Three Years
When I logged into the site today, I was surprised to get a notification that I had received a trophy. Since I usually don't get trophies nowadays, I wondered what it could possibly be for. Then I realized that another year had gone by and that today is my third anniversary on chess.com.
Isn't it amazing how quickly time flies? Recently, I stumbled upon this picture from two years ago. I thought it was very interesting; check it out:
I remember winning a forum contest where people would predict on what day chess.com would reach 100,000 members. This site has come a long way in just three years. Soon, chess.com will welcome its 2,500,000th member!
I don't know what to say. I wish erik and chess.com the best of luck as this site continues to grow. And to celebrate this monumental milestone of mine, here's a game that I saw in a book recently. It was very inspiring, and I hope you will feel the same way when you see it.
Good luck in the black and white jungle!
