Cocktail of Rook Moves
Here is another brilliant game from the great Bronstein. The game is relatively quiet until the forty-seventh move, when his opponent gives up the exchange to seemingly set up an impenetrable fortress. However, instead of acquiescing to the draw, Bronstein sacrifices one of his rooks.
Although effectively playing the rest of the game a whole piece down, his remaining rook simply gobbles up White's pawns, and his own king marches down the board to usher his passed pawns through to their coronation.
