Piquant Piece Sacrifice
Some of you might remember my post a while ago about Shirov's neat game-winning opposite-color-bishops endgame sacrifice. Well, here is another nice game that showcases another of these sacrifices. In the opening, Hindle makes a few errors, and ends up with an isolated d-pawn that he is unable to hold onto. The game eventually goes into an endgame with opposite-colored bishops. Moehring, despite being a pawn up, doesn't seem capable of making any progress, until his amazing 69th move turns the tables in his favor.
