Roman Holiday

Well, I'm no longer the top blogger on chess.com, but it was fun having my name on the top of the list. And I finally accomplished one of my long-time goals! That's always exciting.

Anyway, here's a nice game I saw recently. White builds up an attack on Black's king position, but it looks as if his opponent's defense will hold. However, he manages to spring an beautiful combination that starts with him sacrificing his queen and ends in a pretty little mate.
