I played another game recently in which an opponent did not put enough pressure on my King's Gambit and I won in 18 moves. It ended with a simple but nice combination, so I posted that as a puzzle.
Now, the position is clearly in White's favor, but he'll only get a pawn, it appears. Can you find the combination?
This kind of sacrifice very often works on the Queenside if Black has pushed pawns to c6 or a6. On the Kingside, h6 is often nice for these things. Bryan Smith calls these Barbecue Sacrifices. They are fun and often allow things like this. Enjoy, have fun, good luck, and any pointers are greatly appreciated.
