Harry Potter : Wizards Chess
Here is an interesting game which was played in the first part of Harry Potter series - Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The position for this game was given by IM Jeremy Silman.
The game below shows Harry Potter as Bishop on a3, Hermoine as rook on f8, and the player Ron as Knight on g5. The purpose of the game is to Defeat White. The position is as depicted below.
All what white has to do is to checkmate white king with Nh3#....but the problem is its white to move and white queen capture d3 saving the mate and attacking Harry. Now how can Ron take down the white king........lets see if u can do it ?
( hint : this is a mate in 3 puzzle )
