My first Benko
So this was the last game of the season, we weren't in any danger of going anywhere, and my opponent plays 1. d4 2. c4, so I have a go at the Benko, an opening that I've always been interested in because it creates some very dynamic situations, but I've never looked into it properly, so this was my first attempt:
Did I do it right ??
If my aim was to make an interesting, silly, dynamic game (it most certainly was), I definitely did do it right. If my aim was to win (less often the case than it should be...), again, I did it right !
If my aim was to play the Benko soundly and well, to crush my opponent with all my space and development... I really don't know xD
