Burning the pawn cover around the King

According to Tarrash, Kings are safer behind castled Pawns in their original squares. Moving one of those pawns leaves weaknesses behind, as pawns can not move backwards to defend the  weak squares around the King. So some players, chose to invest materials just to destroy the comfy position of the King, like what we did in this game where we gave an exchange to make the King uncomfortable.

Of course, we could not calculate all variations as GM do. But by mere trusting on the number of pieces we have employed around the enemy King almost always bring victory for the daring player.

Remember, defense is a gruelling task that no one wants to suffer from, except of course the great Korchnoi.
