Chess rules need to be defied sometimes

We are taught that occupying the seventh rank with rooks almost always bring a winning game. But there are no hard and fast rules in chess. In fact, some rules need to be broken in some position. Here Anand shows that his weakness in the second rank cannot be exploited, as he uses his other pieces actively until he establishes a winning Rook and Pawn endgame. Great play by the World Champ.
