New to the game

I've never really gotten in to this before but a bunch of my friends got me playing. I kind of stink and I would like some help. If you could post some neat tricks or give me some tips that'd be great!!! I was playing against the computer, man that thing is good. If you ever need a challenge play it on hard. It killed me in like five minutes. It was kind of embarising. Budbudbud.
