Just a dream or a lesson learned?
There are 2 episodes of an American series, "Supernatural," my favorite of all the ones I've ever seen, which shows interesting things.
"Supernatural" in episode 04x01, that is, the first episode of the fourth season.
This series features 2 brothers who fight against evil forces, sometimes exchanging their lives in a pact with demons. This is exactly what happened in the third season: Sam was killed, his brother summoned a demon and made a deal: he would give him one year of life in exchange for his brother's return, and this was done. The third season ends with Dean, Sam's brother, being killed and literally going to hell.
What is the importance or relevance of this episode?
Today I had a dream, I'm talking about myself, Camila the Brazilian, and in the dream I had befriended the President of the USA, Trump, and we were in a meeting about the US federal government's debt and its payment. To my surprise, Trump announced me as the US Minister of Economy. I don't even know if that's legal in practice or not, but the main message the dream wanted to convey is that even though bad things happen, good things also happen. I mentioned this episode precisely because at the end it says "good things happen," and as soon as I woke up I remembered this episode.
Another episode that caught my attention was 6x11, also from "Supernatural". In this episode, there is a being called "Death" who is the head of the reapers (reapers are angels who, after a person's death, have the mission of collecting the soul and taking it to either heaven or hell, of course, within the context of the series).
Here we clearly have a good debate about Order vs. Disorder. Everything the two brothers do is to cause disorder, and everything this being does, who is not a bad being but just, is to keep things in order, that is, to clean up the mess of those who do wrong. And in this episode, Death challenges Dean, saying, "I want you to be me for just one day."
In this episode, it becomes clear how order and disorder complement and differ from each other.
It's another super interesting episode; I recommend you watch it in its entirety.
Here's an excerpt from the final part of 4x01, where they summon the being that pulled Dean out of hell, with the questions "Who was it?" and "Why?"
