Two steps back

Played in a tournament this past weekend.   4 rounds of G55 + 5 in the < 1400 division.   Painful outing with a score of 2-2 and a loss of about 30 ratings points.  I didn’t sleep well all week and almost didn’t go but decided to caffeine up and go push some pawns.   My losses were due to straight up blunders – hung a queen in one game and miscalculated an attack on f7 missing a key response and incredible resource from my opponent.  Ended up down material and playing desperate defense hoping for a swindle that didn’t happen.
