It's Just a Matter of Technique

This game was finished today for round 5 of the local chess league.
When they (the “they” that are the “they”) say that it is
“Just a matter of technique,” what exactly do “they” mean?
Do they mean that it is just sooo elementary that anyone should be
able to accomplish the task at hand? Do they mean that only an
idiot could possibly screw this up? Do they mean that “they” are sooo
superior to the rest of us that “they” wouldn’t break a sweat bringing
it to its rightful conclusion?

So when the game arrives after much work at move 22. Rhe1 and Rxe1 .

is it really just technique to go further? Or was it blood and tears to bear

up under each successive check?

And at move 29. Rc8+ , how carefully do you think it was checked to see if survival was possible in the ensuing series of checks? How carefully was the back rank mate surveyed that allowed the capture to take place?

Technique ? You guys must really be amazing!
