A guide to follow online and offline blitz events from top players
Just a guide
Hello- Maybe many of you have followed online and ofline events but don't know exactly who are the strongest players and what to expect from them. So I created a table displaying the worlds strongest blitz players according to this site, which I think will be useful to follow them in events like Titled Tuesday and others. As the real name is not displayed during the competition but their usernames on this site, I wrote both.
Also is not only online events, but when it comes and we are near to the WC rapid and blitz, it's easier to follow if you know the players ratings as a sample of their blitz strengths.
So stop chating and let's post the tables. Actually there is one table but it didn't fit completely in my screen so I divided in two, as I tried that most of the successful blitz performes had a place in the table. The order (and 1st.column) is displayed according the CC ratings at the end of November. I state this issue like online blitz ratings can change dramatically if many games are played, which doesn't happen in OTB tournaments, which ratings (fide ratings) are much more stable.
Ok., so copy & paste.

In a column the seed at CC at the end of November.
b. Username on this site
c. Players real name
d. Blitz rating in this site
e. #seeded in FIDEs overall blitz classification
f. FIDEs blitz rating of the player
g. Federation (some have recently changed due to the war in Ukraine).
We don't have to be very smart to guess that files e and f are the most likely to show the players true blitz strength. In other words, let's suppose that a player is not even in the top 100 of FIDE live blitz ratings, it would not be very logical to expect him to finish in the top 10 or even top 20 of online competitions, frequently.
The 2nd. part of the table:

No thing to add. I just expect this table proofs useful for as many blitz competitions followers as possible. ![]()
