My first live tournament podium!

Hey everyone! I'm going to delay the sacrifice and initiative/ Evans gambit blogs to write one about my best tournament on chess.com! I only played a few and I already got a podium. This tournament was Blitz 10+0 and surprisingly enough with my 1400 blitz, I was one of the highest-rated players in that tournament.

Well, let's see how it did develop!

First game:

You always want to have a good start in everything, and the first game was a miniature, which gave me a lot of faith to make a good result in that tourney:

Next up things started getting harder and I blundered... But still won!

The next game has a very funny draw offering story. Usually, when your opponent offers a draw and the position is still complicated, this means he's worried well we were both worried! He was the second-highest rated player in the tournament and was also playing for first place or at least podium as he had a 2/2 too.

The next game was terrible, I fell for a miniature and gave my opponent who had 2/3 to get a chance to reach the podium
We were six players fighting for the podium now, one with 4/4 and 5 with 3/4.
And I didn't face somebody that had a decent performance so I had an easy win!
I was following the decisive games although the tie-breaks + the last round pairing wouldn't allow me to finish off the podium. I finished third on one tiebreak to the second player. The first had 5/5: Congrats! The second had 4/5 with 8 tiebreaks: Congrats! And I was third with 4/5 and 7 tiebreaks
