THE EVANS GAMBIT

#1 Introduction

The Evans Gambit is an opening that was invented in 1828 by captain Evans, a welsh sea captain when he was crossing the Atlantic. He played it for the first time against the Irish Grand Master Alexander McConnell.  This article is going to be showing you the popular variations and a game from every variation, so we can analyze the variations deeply in future blog articles.
