A Rare Checkmating Combo!
During the arena, I played the black pieces and faced the Evan's Gambit. Rather than give white his fun, I simply played ...Bb6 and declined the gambit. My dark square bishop proved to be a fearsome attacking piece later in the game! This often occurs when you play 3...Bc5 against the Italian Game instead of the Two Knights Defense. I highly recommend this variation for all improving players.
