3 tips for using the game review tool to improve your game + free course
Chess.com has released a new feature in its game review tool: Miss moves.
This is great because now you’ll be able to see exactly where you messed up.
However, there are three things most people don’t take advantage of with the game review tool.
If you can learn this, you will progress.
Here are the 3 keys to improving your rating using the game review tool.
1. Check all misses, mistakes and blunders
2. Discover the right moves by yourself
3. Invest some time to avoid positions you don’t like.
Maybe you are already familiar with the first two actions, but most people ignore the third one.
That implies understanding the conditions that created critical moments you misplayed. What moves came before? Why did you play those moves?
Ask yourself, “How could I make things better for myself? Or more difficult for my opponent?”.
I made a masterclass in my group coaching program on how to think about the game review tool.
This week, I will upload the recording to my free & private chess.com club: Accelerated Chess Progress Secrets
If you want to see this 60-minute masterclass and master the art of analyzing your games, then comment “me” so I will send you an invitation to my club, and you can watch the masterclass for free.
See you on the winning side.
