In Division 1, SRM-A dominated the regular season of 2026 India College Chess Championship (ICCL) Spring with a perfect score of 7/7. The top-six teams qualified for the Playoffs stage.

Interesting Moments 

A particular moment in this game was amusing. It is rare to see such a queen trap. See if you can find the best move as White. Black's last move ...Ne2 makes this plan possible.

The next game features a rare instance of a player completely outplaying a grandmaster. 

When a player faces a choice, it becomes essential to consider the merits and drawbacks and then decide which is right. Black had this situation and he failed to pass the test.
