Arena Kings Adventures

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well! Most of you know that my favorite chess player is Hikaru Nakamura. Most people are surprised when I say that. Why is he, my favorite player? I learned chess in the summer of 2018. I started only playing on Chesskid.com as Weatherman. In September of that year, I opened my account on Chess.com. Shortly after, I discovered Twitch chess streamers after an SCC match between Hikaru and Welsey So. I very quickly became a big Hikaru fan after that match. I might not have understood what was going on in his games but he explained it well and was a ton of fun to watch. 

As you can tell Hikaru finds some of the coolest ideas. One other thing that he does incredibly well is saving losing positions. He has held positions against top GMs that no one else could ever hold. I started watching his stream back in 2018 and have been enjoying his streams since then. I have learned so much from watching his streams and I try to play similarly to the way he does. This was not my first game playing against Hikaru. I played him when he was @neo doing a bullet speedrun, and I also played him 2 other times. Let's get into the game vs the great @Hikaru! There is the Youtube video from the stream.

Here is the game analysis though. 

On September 21st I played in another Arena Kings and won some prize money! I will put some of the other games here as well! 

Yeah, a pretty terrible game. But we get the win! And we started a winning streak so it all works out. The next game is also weird.  

Thanks to the great @Radon bongclouding and beating me, I lost my streak shortly after. I got it going again with this game. 

Pretty simple game. It was dry then it was not. I am pretty happy with the event. Recently I have had some cool games. I had my first win vs an IM and drew and beat an NM. Here are some more cool games! 

That game I was pretty happy with that. Here is the draw against the same person. 

Now here is the game vs the IM. I was somewhat offended by this. I mean we were the same rating and he bongclouded against me. Not a huge deal but I was semi annoyed so I went for his throat. 

Here is another game I had that I found interesting. I was pretty much getting a smothered mate but my opponent resigned instead of letting me play it. Maybe someday I will get to play one out in a game.
