My Elo Rating Climb

Hi, I'm Ryan. I started playing chess 2 years ago, and I have exclusively played rapid on chess.com. My rating is currently 1231 in Rapid Chess and it's been stuck around this number for a while. This has been very discouraging, as I've had exponential growth since I've played chess until I hit this road block. But after I watched this video by ChessTalk, I'm starting to think it is more of a learning curve. 

This video (along with GothamChess' Road to GM Series) has inspired me to take chess more seriously in order to reach 1500. My goal is to play 3 online chess games everyday, analyze them as mentioned in the video, and I will learn one opening every week. I hope to one day become a chess tutor, and I hope to become a titled player someday. I hope my journey inspires anyone who really wants to improve their chess to have the discipline and courage to do it. So, stay tuned for my Elo Rating Climb: Day 1 coming out soon!
