IM David Silva (Angola) won 3rd Online Above 2000 FIDE Rated Players Classical Chess Tournament conducted from 10th October – 18th October by scoring 7 points out of nine rounds. We are announcing the final results on Today after we received chess.com fair play confirmation report. 


WIM Trisha Kanyamarala (Ireland) stood at 2nd place by scoring 6.5 points.

IM David will receive Indian Rupees 3,000 and WIM Trisha will receive India Rupees 1,500 as a surprise gift, sponsored by the Chess Parent community.




13 players participated at this event and it includes 6 titled players (1 IM, 2 FM, 1 WFM, 1 CM and 1 AGM). Players from five countries (Angola, India, Iran, Ireland and Moldova) were participated at this tournament. We have witnessed hard fought games among these players in all the nine rounds.

This online tournament is a Chess Parent and Player initiative with the support of chess.com India. It was a free online classical (90 minutes + 30 seconds increment from move one) tournament for the players having FIDE peak rating above 2000.

FA S. Subba Raju is the Chief Arbiter for this tournament and IM Rakesh Kulkarni, head of chess.com India has supported all the online technical aspects related to integration of each round pairings at chess-results with chess.com server.
