Meet Titanic Chess
Note: The Titanic piece is actually Red, but I like the yellow pieces so here's a yellow rook sailboat.

Meet Titanic Chess

Titanic Chess is a variant I invented, though as of now it is informal. You win the game by rescuing (reaching) the Titanic before your opponent. Like Thermopolyae, there two players, though in this case there is only bot instead of Thermopolyae's two because the Titanic took the red piece.
The bot is a muncher, but it won't come after the Titanic because I didn't give the bot any pieces that can move diagonally.

Setup

The board is a 14x14 board with  36 squares cut off like in 4-player FFA or Teams chess. Blue goes in the spot red would usually goes in, and Yellow goes in Blue's usual spot. The kings are not placed symmetrically (as in they aren't on "opposite squares", they are both placed on the same colored square, leaving three squares on their right and four on their left. Blue and Yellow both have 15 rook sailboats and 7 (Blue has 6) pawns that can only promote to rook sailboats. Green is hard to describe, as it has an abundance of pieces, but among those pieces are Berolinas, Soldiers, Stone Generals, Sergeants, Dabbabas, Rook Sailboats, and Wazirs. Green has no king, because it's a zombie bot, so to beat it you must capture all its pieces, which is more difficult than it seems.

(The starting position for Titanic Chess)

There is also a dead pawn in the center, that is actually supposed to symbolize a lifeboat. I may remove it in future updates, but it just seems right to have it.

Rules (not piece movement)

Titanic Chess, like any other chess variant, has altered rules. Piece movement is the same, of course, as Chess.com doesn't allow you to alter piece movement, but the rules themselves are slightly different. First of all, check is forbidden, to prevent check and checkmate and ensure that you're forced to try to reach the Titanic, aka the center, and also so that the bot isn't obsolete (in earlier drafts of this game, the bot was checker, which rendered it useless because checks are illegal and the bot had nothing to do with its life so it simply was a random mover, making the game incredibly easy because the bot was dumb). Pawns promote on the 11th rank, and I tried to make the game a play-for-mate, to ensure that the Titanic, aside from assuring total victory, also gave the winner a bucketload of points. (The image doesn't show the Titanic as a royal piece, but that's because I accidentally deleted it and I was lazy to fix it before I took the screenshot).
Symbolism

The players symbolize the rescuers who braved the cold to rescue the poor dying souls the sad night of April 14, 1912, only in a more competitive way. The green bot can symbolize the icebergs that the rescue ship(s) had to maneuver through to reach the shipwreck, and the rook sailboats remind the players that they're playing a naval game based off a naval story.

Thanks for your time, you're amazing! If you see "Custom position Racing kings Play-for-mate" in the Variants lobby, click on it because it's me (more than likely)!
