(This post is part of a series on The Beginner's Game, an opening system by Pafu. It is written by Chris A. Huff.)

A series of posts will follow containing two featured games played by the inventor of the system, including Pafu's own commentary (in "quotation marks") and plenty of my own. In each game the color cited plays the Beginner's Game.

Game #9. White.

After just over four years, our series continues. Here White plays the Beginner's Game up against Black's standard 3-pawn opening and "like other perfect classical openings, does not prove better than the Beginner's Game!"

Game #10. Black.

Here "[Pafu] with Black produces a draw against his top strength rival, here playing the two-pawn standard classical defense."
